Public Lecture with the theme "Lecture With World Class Professor In Packaging And Storage Technology Course As Preparation For International Accreditation"

In preparation for the opening of international classes, THP Study Program schedules lecture activities with foreign lecturers. Lectures with foreign lecturers can create an international work environment, so that it will have an impact on improving the English language skills of THP Study Program students. Activities aimed at preparing for the opening of international classes through lectures with overseas lecturers with participants both lecturers and students of the Agricultural Product Technology Study Program, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, University of Jember to improve students' English communication skills, provide information on the development of knowledge in other parts of the world, increase the research network of lecturers and students as well as the development of international classes and submission of international accreditation.
The implementation of this public lecture activity took place in the Seminar Room, 3rd Floor Soerachman Building, University of Jember, on Tuesday, May 07, 2024, at 07.00 until completion by inviting two resource persons / facilitators, namely Dr. Pavalee Chompoorat Tridritanakiat from Chiang Mai University and Mrs. Erni Sofia Murtini, Ph.D from Brawijaya University. The material presented was about technology in packaging and storage accompanied by the lecturers of the course, namely Prof. Dr. Yuli Witono, S.TP., M.P; Dr. Triana Lindriati, S.T., M.P; and Lailatul Azkiyah, STP, MP, Ph.D. In addition, this activity was also attended and opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Product Technology, Dr. Ir. Bambang Marhaenanto, M.Eng and Vice Dean 1, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Suryaningrat, S.TP., M.M., IPU, ASEAN Eng. The enthusiasm of the participants was quite high (100% attendance), including 116 THP students of Batch 2022 semester 4 (36 students of class A, 36 students of class B, 44 students of class C) who were recorded in the sister course of Packaging and Storage Technology.
