Outstanding Student of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology 2021

 Becoming an Outstanding Student is the dream of all students in Indonesia. To become an Outstanding Student, it is necessary to fulfill the criteria of the tridharma of higher education, including education and teaching, research and development, and community service. One of the students who successfully won the title of the University of Jember's Main Outstanding Student is Thabed Tholib Baladraf. Thabed is a student of the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, University of Jember class of 2019 who comes from Pasuruan. Thabed was born into a simple family and lived alone with his mother starting in 2007 since his father died, on the other hand Thabed's mother is a traditional snack seller in the market. At that time Thabed was hesitant when he wanted to continue to college due to economic limitations, but with determination, willingness, upbringing and guidance from a great mother, currently Thabed has succeeded in becoming the Main Outstanding Student of the University of Jember 2021 and becoming the Outstanding Student of LLDIKTI 7, thus making his steps to compete at the National level. Not only history for the Faculty of Agricultural Technology but also history for the University of Jember because it is the first time the University of Jember has succeeded in passing its delegation to the National level.

Thabed is a good person in academics as evidenced by a GPA of 3.98 and actively contributes to the discovery of scientific innovations despite the various limitations experienced. This is evidenced by the title of the University of Jember's Top Achieving Student, then there are 133 awards in the field of research, 33 times as a national webinar speaker, 3 international journal publications, and 2 national journal publications. Not only that, Thabed was also entrusted with being an achievement mentor at Bogor Agricultural University and a professional research mentor at PT Riset Prestasi Indonesia. Thabed is also a person who is agile towards activities and loves to serve. Thabed has established a youth organization called Inovasia-ID that houses high school students in Indonesia who have a passion for research and has produced dozens of champions. Thabed is a person who is not only smart in theory, but also smart in innovating for the benefit of society.

There is no harm in being an Achievement Student because by achieving, it educates Thabed to be more independent. Through achievement Thabed can rent a house, buy a laptop, and send money every month to mom. In the future Thabed can have the determination to provide broad benefits to the surroundings so that it can become the spearhead to move the wheels of the progress of the Indonesian nation. This is Thabed who has contributed actively in social community activities, student organizations, and innovation.
