This collaboration was marked by a friendly visit from the Head of BPOM Jember to FTP UNEJ on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

During his visit, the Head of BPOM Jember conveyed the importance of monitoring food products, both in terms of composition and quality. The “Safe Food Goes to Campus” program is one of the focuses of this collaboration. This program aims to increase the awareness of students and the academic community about the importance of consuming safe and nutritious food.

“The collaboration with FTP UNEJ is very strategic. The presence of students with a background in food technology will be very helpful in socializing and monitoring food in the campus environment,” said the Head of BPOM Jember.

In addition to the Safe Food program, both parties will also work together in the field of downstream research. The results of research in the field of food conducted by lecturers and students of FTP UNEJ are expected to be applied directly and provide benefits to the community. [es]
