Lab. Chemistry and Biochemistry of Agricultural Products

Laboratory Leader     : Ahmad Nafi, S.TP., M.P

PLP Laboratory                  : Ni Ketut Leseni, A.Md

Laboratory Technician     : Nugraha Yuwana, S.TP

The Laboratory of Chemistry and Biochemistry of Agricultural Products is a laboratory of the department of agricultural products technology that focuses on chemical testing of foodstuffs and agricultural products. Laboratory activities are generally centered on student services for practicum, for example: Fundamentals of Agricultural Product Technology; Quality Analysis of Food and Agricultural Products; Basic Chemistry; New Product Development; and Derivative Product Processing Technology; or final project research, for example: Antioxidant Activity of Telang Flower Kombucha Tea Drink; Effectiveness of Chili Oleoresin Addition on Physicochemical Properties of Low Fat Mayonnaise; and Characteristics of Enzymatic Hydrolysate of Vannamei Shrimp Shell Protein using Pineapple Fruit Extract. In addition, the laboratory also receives sample submissions for analysis such as proximate content and functional characteristics. The laboratory also plays a role in community service activities, one of which is by becoming a practitioner in the training of making Modified Cassava Flour (MOCAF), making MOCAF derivative products (Brownies, Crackers, Nuggets, Mud Cake, Bolu), and several processed legume products such as koro sword, komak, kratok.

Lab. Instrumentation

Laboratory Leader     : Dr. Dedy Wirawan Soedibyo, S.TP., M.Si

PLP Laboratory                 : Agus Suparyono

Laboratory Technician     :

Instrumentation Laboratory is a laboratory in the Department of Agricultural Engineering that focuses on electronics, instrumentation and energy for agriculture. Practicums conducted in the instrumentation lab include Control and Biosystem Instrumentation, Agricultural Information Systems, Agricultural Mechatronics and Agricultural Energy and electrification. The final products or results of students who conduct thesis research in the Instrumentation Laboratory include digital image programs, control system circuits, prototype design of automation tools and others. In addition, students can also make briquettes which later calculate the energy produced. The instrumentation laboratory was previously named ENOTIN (Energy, Automation and Agricultural Electronics) laboratory.

Lab. Agricultural Product Engineering

Laboratory Leader     : Sutarsi, S.TP., M.Sc

PLP Laboratory                 :

Laboratory Technician     :

The Engineering of Agricultural Products Laboratory is a laboratory that focuses on post-harvest processing. The practicum carried out in the Agricultural Products Engineering laboratory is processing techniques and process design and food processing techniques for agricultural products. The final product or result of student thesis research from the Agricultural Products Engineering laboratory is food ingredients, for example, ginger flour and so on.

Engineering Laboratory for Agricultural Equipment and Machinery

Laboratory Leader     : Dr. Ir. Soni Sisbudi Harsono, M.Eng., M.Phil.

PLP Laboratory                 :

Laboratory Technician     :

The main function of the Lab. Engineering of Agricultural Equipment and Machinery FTP UNEJ is as a means of supporting learning activities (practicum), research, and development in the field of interest in engineering appropriate agricultural equipment. Practical activities in this Lab include (1) MPAP practicum (smt 1) and AMPP (smt 2) which have the aim of utilizing a combustion motor as a source of power for agricultural equipment; (2) SMAP Practicum (smt 3) provides the ability for students to use tools and machine tools for the purpose of engineering, maintenance and repair of alsintan, and can estimate costs and evaluate the economy of alsintan utilization, and (3) RMPP Practicum (smr 5) provides practicum facilities related to innovation, design and design of innovative and appropriate alsin. By being equipped with practical skills, it is hoped that students can think solutively in helping to overcome current issues in society, and can provide output through research and scientific publications. The Agricultural Equipment and Machinery Engineering Lab is chaired by Dr. Ir. Soni Sisbudi Harsono, M.Eng., M.Phil. with a team of lecturers consisting of Dr. Siswoyo Soekarno, S.TP., M.Eng., Ir Tasliman, M.Eng., and Rufiani Nadzirah, S.TP., M.Sc.
